Police Seek Owners of Stolen Bikes Recovered from Nottingham Care Home

Nottinghamshire Police have seized four bicycles believed to be stolen, appealing to the public for information to reunite them with their rightful owners. The bikes were discovered during a routine visit to a Nottingham care home on 9th May, leading to the arrest of a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

Sergeant Lee Wilson, Nottinghamshire Police, emphasized the importance of community assistance: “Our ask is that anyone who recognizes any of the bikes pictured gets in touch with us, so that we can return their property to them.”

The police have been unable to identify the owners through existing records and suspect the thefts occurred within the past month. They urge anyone who has lost a bike recently to come forward with proof of ownership, including the time and location of the theft.
